Here is a delicate leaf with
fall the colors! Heaven's creations are awesome!
As the leaves change so does the weather. We are having gray skies and some rain. I guess the big rains are coming next week. I bought a raincoat (supposedly waterproof) and we will see if it really is because we walk to the College to teach our classes.
In other news, we are changing too. Our car has been having a wobble so we took it to Les Schwab and they told us big problems. We called our mechanic back in ST G and he said he would get another opinion as he had looked it over and thought the car was in good shape for a mission. So we found a guy at a shop by owner...he looked it over and took some pics to show us what he found. He said there was some work but none of the problems Les had told us about. So we kept driving it. One day we decided now was a good time to replace it so when I was looking for a pair of boots for the winter/rains Dean found a car (same kind we were driving) at a dealer near the outlet mall where we were. We drove over to see and test drive it. We both really liked it so they made the numbers work and we signed our lives away! Yes change is in the air! (it is NOT new, just new to us!)
Tuesday was a long day, we taught two classes at the college and made and served and cleaned up a dinner (Navajo tacos) for the Institute YSA! (around 67 people ) it was fun. Then ice cream sundaes after class. We got home about 9:30pm and brought all the pots and pans to wash home because the church didn't have any hot water! So the night continues...
Wednesday, we volunteered at the Bishop's storehouse in Kent! That was a fun experience. I marvel at the Lord's program. He blesses all our lives so much. We were blessed to go and participate in that marvelous program. One young man from the BYSA volunteered to help so we drove. It was so nice of him to help. We filled orders for 5-7 Stakes! It is a warehouse so perfectly organized right down to the twisty ties for the fresh produce plastic sacks! Oh how it blesses the needy. Remember your tithing and fast offerings always bless other's lives....never end up in someone's pocket!
Be generous if you can! I have seen it first hand.
